Morrison Racing is a new boutique racing stable based on the Gold Coast.

Trainer Michael Morrison, who has spent the past five years working as Michael Costa's Racing Manager and Assistant Trainer, official launched the stable in April 2022.

Michael is committed to providing owners with the best racing experience around. Horse welfare is our number one priority.

Having worked in the industry for over 10 years, Michael's dream of running his own stable has been realised and he is aiming to compete at the highest level right from the start.

Being based out of the Gold Coast, the stable is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the beach for horse recovery as well as maximise prizemoney opportunities inNorthern NSW as well as Metropolitan racing and good provincial tracks in south east Queensland.

This gives horses every chance to be able to reach their full potential.

Michael plans to keep horse numbers on a smaller scale to begin with so that he can provide a real focus on attention to detail and owner communications.

From there, the goal will be to build the stable slowly to and be in a position to become a force in Queensland racing over the next two to three years.

Morrison has already been chosen as the preferred trainer for a number of Costa's former horses that he has worked very closely with including the likes of SHE CAN SING, WILLO TITTO and OLYMPIC CLASS.
