WITNESS ATTACK made the best possible start to his career with Morrison Racing when he won on his stable debut following a 308-day break.

The lightly-raced 5YO had made six previous appearances without winning, but struck at the first time of asking in Saturday’s Maiden Plate (1350m) at Warwick.

The son of Star Witness was prominent throughout under Anthony Allen, who pressed the button at the 400-metre mark. 

The pair swiftly put several lengths on their rivals, and whilst the margin narrowed in the closing stages WITNESS ATTACk always had enough up his sleeve.
